Open-air Living Room

After a break of a few years, the time has finally come again in 2025: the open-air living room is back!

Revitalize the public space in front of your home! Set up a table and chairs in front of the door, enjoy coffee and cake and have a conversation with your neighbors.

Under the motto "Cohesion", the citizens of Karlsruhe's Oststadt are cordially invited to take a break from everyday life, talk to their neighbors and discover life on their doorstep. The open-air living room is an initiative of the real-world lab "Quartier Zukunft - Labor Stadt", which is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Zukunftsraum this year. The Zukunftsraum will be open on the day of the event and can be visited.
